The project included the installation of the 3D Fabric Development Machine, model SGA598 Spacer, manufactured by Tongyuan Textile, China. This machine is designed to work with a variety of materials such as Kevlar, UHMWPE, cotton, polyester, and metallic yarns. It features an electronic rapier weft insertion system, automatic control systems, and the ability to weave spacer fabrics with thicknesses ranging from 2mm to 10mm.
