This policy applies to visitors to marjanpolymer.com and to customers, prospective customers, suppliers, service providers, technical contacts, job applicants and other people who communicate or conduct business with MPI through the website, email, telephone, WhatsApp or related business channels.
We handle personal data under applicable laws of Pakistan. Where another privacy law applies because of a person's location or our activities—including the EU or UK GDPR—we apply the relevant additional rights and safeguards.

We receive information directly from you, from your organisation or authorised representative, through website forms and communications, through transactions, and automatically from servers and essential website technologies. We may also receive business contact information from public professional sources or legitimate business referrals.
Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal data. Do not send passwords, PINs, full payment-card details, national identity documents, medical data or other highly sensitive information through ordinary enquiry forms, email or WhatsApp.

We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not use website submissions to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Security and protection of people, systems and assets
MPI applies proportionate technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal and business data against unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, loss or disclosure. These may include access restrictions, role-based administration, authentication, software maintenance, malware and spam controls, encrypted transmission, backups, logging, vendor controls, confidentiality duties and incident-response procedures.
Access is limited to people who reasonably need the information for their work. We may monitor and preserve security events, communications and relevant records to protect the company, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, customers, documents, intellectual property, equipment, digital assets and business operations, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed absolutely secure. Users are responsible for choosing secure communication channels, protecting their own devices and credentials, and promptly telling MPI if they suspect an unauthorised disclosure or security issue.
Confidential technical and commercial submissions
Website forms, ordinary email and WhatsApp are suitable for initial enquiries but should not be treated as a secure data room or as creating confidentiality obligations beyond applicable law and an existing written agreement.
Before sending trade secrets, proprietary formulations, complete manufacturing drawings, controlled technical data or commercially sensitive files, please contact MPI to agree an appropriate channel and, where required, a written confidentiality or non-disclosure arrangement. MPI may retain limited metadata or evidence of communications where necessary for security, compliance or legal claims.
How long information is retained
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, legal obligations, security, warranties, dispute resolution and the establishment, exercise or defence of claims. Typical periods are:
| Record category | Typical retention |
|---|---|
| General enquiries, unsuccessful quotations and routine technical correspondence | Up to 3 years after the last substantive interaction |
| Customer, order, project, delivery, warranty and supplier records | Generally 6 years after completion, or longer where a warranty, dispute or law requires |
| Tax, accounting and invoice records | At least the period required by applicable law; Pakistan income-tax records are generally retained for 6 years |
| Website diagnostic and routine security logs | Usually up to 90 days, unless needed to investigate an incident or claim |
| Backup copies | Removed through the normal backup cycle, generally within 90 days, unless preservation is legally required |
Records may be anonymised instead of deleted. A minimal suppression record may be retained after an opt-out so that the preference can be respected.
Your privacy rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you may request confirmation of processing, access to personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction, portability, objection to certain processing, or withdrawal of consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed.
Send a request to info@marjanpolymer.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. To protect everyone involved, we may verify identity and authority before releasing or changing data. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Some requests may be limited where records must be kept for tax, contract, security, legal claims or the rights of others.
You may also complain to the competent privacy or data-protection authority in your jurisdiction where that right applies. We encourage you to contact MPI first so the matter can be reviewed promptly.
Children, external links and third-party platforms
This is an industrial and business-to-business website and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly request personal data from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted information should contact us for review.
Links to manufacturers, social platforms, WhatsApp, maps, videos or other external services are provided for convenience. Those services control their own processing, security and terms. Opening an external link may transmit technical information such as your IP address and referring page to that provider.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, business processes, service providers or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised. Material changes may also be highlighted on the website or communicated directly where appropriate. Continued use of the website after an update does not remove any rights granted by applicable law.
