Custom Industrial Shredder Machine Manufacturer in Pakistan
Marjan Polymer Industries designs and fabricates industrial shredder machines in Pakistan for recycling plants, factories, waste processors and production facilities. Every machine is developed around the material that the customer needs to process. We do not force every application into one standard model.
A shredder for plastic film does not need the same cutters, feeding system or drive arrangement as a machine for metal scrap, timber, tyres or composite waste. MPI reviews the feed material, required capacity, final shred size and working conditions before selecting the machine configuration. This gives the customer a shredder that is practical for the job instead of a general machine with unsuitable specifications.
Our machines are manufactured and assembled in Pakistan. We can supply compact units for limited production as well as large industrial systems for continuous processing. The final size, power and level of automation are selected according to the customer requirement.
Built for the material you need to process
The first step in shredder design is understanding how the material behaves. Flexible materials can wrap around a shaft. Abrasive composites can shorten cutter life. Thick metal creates severe shock loads. Timber and pallets need a different cutting action from plastic lumps. Mixed waste may also contain foreign objects that must be considered before the machine is built.
MPI uses this application information to select the shaft arrangement, cutter profile, cutter spacing, working speed, gearbox, motor power, feeding method, control system and discharge arrangement. Where necessary, we can also integrate conveyors, screens, magnetic separation and other equipment into the shredding line.
Materials and industrial applications
Plastic waste
Custom shredders can be designed for rigid plastic, rejected mouldings, lumps, pipes, sheets, drums, crates, bottles and selected flexible plastic waste. Film, woven sacks and thin flexible material need careful feeding and cutter design to reduce wrapping. A screen or secondary granulator may be added when a smaller and more controlled output is required.
Metal scrap
Metal shredding projects are evaluated according to the metal grade, section thickness, feed dimensions and required output. Suitable applications can include light fabrication scrap, sheet offcuts, aluminium sections, metal turnings, cans and selected industrial components. Heavy castings, hardened steel and very thick sections require a dedicated heavy duty design and cannot be treated as ordinary feed material.
Textile, fabric and fibre
MPI can develop shredding systems for fabric offcuts, garments, yarn waste, carpet, fibre, nonwoven material, foam and similar production waste. These materials can stretch or wrap during processing, so the cutter geometry, shaft clearance and feeding method must be selected specifically for the material.
Wood and biomass
Machines can be designed for pallets, boards, timber offcuts, packaging wood, branches and selected biomass. The required product determines whether the project needs a shredder, chipper, crusher or a staged system. MPI will recommend the correct process instead of using the word shredder for every type of wood reduction.
Tyres and rubber
Tyres, rubber sheets, hoses, belts and rubber production waste normally require a low speed and high torque cutting system. Steel reinforcement, tyre size and the required chip size have a major effect on the drive power, cutter material and number of processing stages.
Composite materials
Composite waste may include glass fibre reinforced plastic, carbon fibre composites, polymer laminates and cured production scrap. Abrasion, dust and fibre release must be considered in the cutter material, chamber lining, sealing and extraction arrangement. The existing composite shredder application remains available as part of the wider MPI custom shredder range.
Electronic waste, cables and industrial products
Shredders can be developed for selected electronic assemblies, cables, rejected products and secure product destruction. A complete recycling line may also need screens, magnetic separation, air separation or other downstream equipment. The shredder reduces the material size but does not replace the complete separation process.
Paper, cardboard and packaging waste
Industrial paper, cartons, cores, packaging waste and rejected products can be processed for volume reduction or recycling. The machine can be configured for loose feed, baled material or conveyor feeding according to the plant operation.
Mixed industrial waste
Mixed waste and material intended for refuse derived fuel require a proper feed study. Moisture, contamination, metal content, stones and other foreign objects influence the machine design. MPI will define the acceptable feed before confirming the shredder specification.
Shredder configurations available
Single shaft shredder
A single shaft machine is useful when controlled feeding and a more consistent output are important. It commonly uses a hydraulic pusher and a sizing screen. This arrangement can suit many plastics, wood products and production waste streams.
Twin shaft shredder
A twin shaft shredder uses two slow rotating shafts with intermeshing cutters. It is commonly selected for bulky feed, primary size reduction, product destruction and difficult materials where high torque is more important than a tightly controlled output size.
Four shaft shredder
A four shaft system can combine primary cutting with recirculation and screened sizing. It may be selected when the customer needs a smaller or more consistent output from mixed material. The final suitability depends on the feed and the required capacity.
Complete shredding line
Some applications need more than one machine. MPI can design a line with primary shredding, secondary reduction, conveyors, screening and material separation. The line arrangement is developed around the required final product and the customer site.
Custom specification options
The following ranges show the type of customization available. They are not a fixed specification for every material. Final values are confirmed after the application review.

Capacity figures can change greatly between light film, dense rubber, timber and metal. MPI will only confirm production capacity after the feed material, maximum piece size and required output have been defined.
Safety and control features
The safety package is selected according to the machine and the material. Available provisions include a guarded cutting chamber, emergency stop controls, overload protection, automatic shaft reversal, motor protection, access interlocks and safe maintenance access. Dust extraction, fire protection and explosion control are separate engineering requirements when the material presents those hazards.
Battery and hazardous material applications require a dedicated review of the chemistry, charge condition, fire risk, gas release and downstream process. A general purpose shredder is not presented as a safe battery recycling machine. MPI will only consider such an application after a separate safety and process assessment.
Manufacturing, installation and support in Pakistan
MPI manufactures and fabricates the machine in Pakistan according to the approved technical proposal. Our scope can include installation, commissioning and operator training. After sales inspection, maintenance support, cutter servicing and replacement wear parts are available according to the machine condition and service requirement.
The machine is supplied with a one year limited warranty against defects in MPI manufactured components and workmanship during normal operation within the approved application. Normal wear is not a manufacturing defect. Cutters, blades and other wear parts are assessed according to operating hours, material, maintenance and the cause of damage. Damage caused by unapproved feed, foreign objects, overload, misuse, poor maintenance or unauthorized modification is outside warranty coverage. Replacement or repair can still be offered after inspection and quotation.
